How We Found Each Other
2019
When We Met
A mutual friend’s dinner party on a cold winter evening in Cape Town. James brought wine; Evelyn brought her laugh. Neither of them went home when they planned to.
2020
The First Date
A Sunday morning walk through Kirstenbosch that stretched into the afternoon, a picnic neither had planned, and the moment they both knew the world felt better with the other person in it.
2025
The Proposal
At sunrise on a quiet beach in Arniston — just the two of them, a thermos of coffee, and the question James had rehearsed for months. She said yes before he could finish the sentence.
